Group Class Descriptions - Reformer - The reformer is the most versatile piece of Pilates equipment. In Reformer Class, you will be performing the Pilates exercises and sequences with 2-3 other students under the direction of a skilled instructor. Expect to start a class warm-up on the mat and then spend most of your time on the reformer in lying, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions to mobilize your spine, tone the core, define your extremities while coordinating it all with breath and balance. This class is offered at various levels, please start with Fundamentals. Teacher permission is required to register for Levels 1, 1.5+, 2, 3, 4.
- Circuit - This dynamic class is held in the main floor studio and utilizes the Pilates Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel, treadmill, bosus, and more. You will individually perform about 5-7 minutes of exercises on each piece of equipment. There is only one teacher and up to 6 students each doing different exercises at one time. Please know your exercises, and plan to be challenged. Teacher approval is required.
- Mat & Ball - This is an All Levels Class. This is a safe place to start if you are new to the group dynamic. By utiliazing this equipment we are able to target more muscle groups and further the Pilates repertoire. This class is one of the best ways to target all your muscles and get a well rounded workout in a group setting.
- Reformer/JUMP - Get ready to pick up the pace and challenge the endurance of every muscle! This high intensity workout is great for students that have successfully progressed into a Level 2 and above.
